PREVENTION AND EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR A HEALTHY FAMILY AND A SAFE COMMUNITY
Our "Love Without Barriers JCL Foundation" wants to extend the bonds of fellowship to cover not only our children and youth but also their parents by giving them the opportunity to train and educate themselves by means of our outreach community programs.
We know that one of the biggest problems families have is the lack of time parents are able to spend with their children and with this in mind we have created a "School for Parents" which its primary objective is to consolidate the relationship between parents and children and vice versa and thus, create the space for parents to take classes while they wait for their children’s soccer practice to end. We have designed an appropriate place annex to the sports ground where we will have tutors able to offer educational classes (English; workshops for married couples; single mothers; children with addictions; domestic violence; workshops on how to take care the environment; how to promote good values and form good citizens etc.) for parents to invest their time in a fruitful way not only that will benefit them but also their children.
We believed that parents with education and a good foundation can help guide their children to lead free, healthy lives out of gangs and help those who are already involved in them to get out, because having a solid education will enable both parents and children to build a better future.
